the angora editions
A collaboration between rabbit and studio.
Angora is now a permanent — and intentionally limited — offering at Stop, Drop and Knit Fiber Co.
Our angora yarns are built in collaboration with our two English angora rabbits, Felix Fuzzbottom and Elmer Fuzz. Each edition begins with their individually grown fleece, harvested and spun in-house, then paired with carefully selected fibers and botanicals gathered locally.
Every edition is:
• Handspun in the studio
• Rooted in the natural character of each rabbit’s fleece
• Dyed using foraged plant materials when applicable
• Limited by the honest availability of fiber
No two editions are identical. Seasonal dye shifts, fleece changes, and small-batch spinning ensure each edition reflects a specific moment in time.
Angora Editions are numbered and released in small quantities — not as scarcity marketing, but as a reflection of the scale at which we work: two rabbits, one studio, and fiber handled by hand from start to finish.
This is slow fiber.
This is collaborative fiber.
This is angora as archive.
Our Angora Fiber Team
Every Angora Edition begins at home.
Our English Angoras, Felix and Elmer, are not simply fiber animals — they are the foundation of this work.
Their coats are gently harvested as they naturally release their wool, ensuring their comfort and well-being while preserving the integrity of the fiber.
They live indoors as bonded companions, and their presence shapes the pace, scale, and intimacy of every edition.
Meet the rabbits behind the fiber.
The First Edition
Felix No. 1 - Salt & Poke
Felix No. 1 marks the beginning of this series — where homegrown angora meets botanically dyed fiber, joined through slow handspinning.
Harvested with care and colored through ethical foraging, this inaugural edition reflects a collaboration between animal, landscape, and hand.
