English Angora - BlackDirector of Fiber Innovation
felix fuzzbottom
Felix’s salt-and-pepper angora coat brings depth and dimension to the evolving fiber offerings at Stop, Drop and Knit Fiber Co. As the original angora in the studio, his wool marks a new chapter - used in its natural state for its soft, heathered character and dyed to create richly layered, tonal color.
Bold, forward-thinking, and joyfully chaotic, he treats every day as a fiber experiment. One ear tilts where it pleases, and the faintest crinkle of a bag of chips is considered a formal call to action.

Elmer fuzz
Elmer’s luminous white angora coat provides the clearest expression of botanical dye on the softest fiber. In its natural state it’s as bright and weightless as a cloud; once dyed, it reveals pure, clear color.
Steady and deliberate by nature, he sets the tone for strong fiber and consistent standards. He also maintains a rigorously high-fiber diet and a quiet - but committed - practice in corrugated sculpture.
ethically harvested high-quality angora.
Our two English Angora rabbits are deeply loved members of our family. These bonded boys live indoors and enjoy supervised free roam as part of our daily life.
English Angoras naturally molt their fiber three to four times each year. As their coat releases, the wool is gently and thoughtfully plucked by hand during quiet cuddle sessions. This process is not painful — it simply gathers the fiber as it naturally loosens, preventing matting, and keeps them comfortable and healthy.
Every skein begins with care.
