Sticks and Stones

Dyed with homegrown coreopsis and locally foraged goldenrod, Sticks and Stones is a naturally dyed colorway inspired by the dry, tangled garden at the end of the growing season.

Soft cream, pale gold, peach, yellow-green, and small flashes of rusty orange move across the skein in loose, irregular bands. On the airy single-ply Rest base, those colors soften into one another, creating a quiet, weathered palette with plenty of subtle variation.

Named for the dried stems, seed heads, and garden remnants surrounding the yarn in its photographs, Sticks and Stones feels like the season shifting from bloom to bare branches.

Photographed among spent flowers and tangled stems, this colorway captures that in-between moment when the garden is fading but still holding onto a little warmth.

Details:

• 100g skein
• Fingering weight
• Rest base
• Single-ply construction
• Non-superwash

Dye materials:

Homegrown coreopsis and locally foraged goldenrod
(Long Island, New York)

Notes:

Each skein is one of a kind, with natural variation throughout.
